Summers are slowly setting in and we can feel the light warmth amidst the cold breeze. It is the time for us to brace ourselves to face the scorching heat for a couple of months. Thankfully there are quite a few places in India where you can go to beat the summer heat. For me, summer vacations always meant relaxing but still, there are few places on my summer vacation list that are beautiful as well as pocket-friendly.

Dras:


Dras the coldest region of India. Its eye-catching beauty and its stunning backdrop make it a breath-taking getaway. The weather during the summer is very pleasant which makes it the best time to explore the region and the valleys around it.

Sandakphu:


The highest peak in West Bengal looking upon the blanket of Eastern Himalayan views of some of the highest peaks in the world like Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga. The temperature of this region is very soothing during the summers making it the perfect summer trek. If you are a trekker you will adore this region.

Horsley Hills:


If you want to spend your summers relaxing in the thick of nature then Horsley hills is your destination. It is surrounded by the dense growth of eucalyptus, jacaranda, allamanda and Gulmohar trees.
